Aha! My BMI is now below 40. This means I’m no longer technically morbidly obese! I’m just Class II obese!
Huzzah.
Of course, I had a Memorial Day BBQ with friends and ate far too much, and had gained 4.6 lbs by the time I got home… So it’s Back to the Grindstone starting tomorrow.
I *did* kayak for an hour or so, though – so I did get some exercise…
Congrats, that’s a big milestone that you’ve passed 🙂
I’m out here in Borneo, it’s 75% humidity and like being in a Sauna, I think I’ve lost about 3 stones this morning, all water though I guess!

Thanks for the encouragement! Although 80 is impressive even to me, I have 106 to go, so it’s still a long road ahead of me…
So glad you’re keeping us up to date on your blog! The fish massage looks tickly. I remember in girl scout camp the catfish in the lake used to come and nibble on our feet and legs and it was such a peculiar (and unnerving) feeling!

Hey!!!!! That’s just great!!!! Good for you!!!! I can not believe that you can have gained over 4 lbs at a BBQ. That just doesn’t seem possible. Perhaps I’m not considering how much water and salt you might have consumed in that time… I mean, can you just make me understand what you mean by eating too much? How much is too much? A whole chicken, 2 lbs of potato salad and a half dozen ears of corn? What?

Thanks.
“Too much” means over 1200 calories. There’s an approximation of what I ate yesterday on my spark people page. It was nearly 2500 calories.
As of Monday morning the apparent gain was 2.5 lbs or so.
